The WPTA holds meetings every month to learn from industry professionals, and build community.
Upcoming Meetings
The Western Province Turfgrass Association Was established in 1978.
Our objective is the upliftment of the turf industry by:
- Offering monthly lectures to its members by local and overseas speakers.
- Providing education that is pertinent to the turfgrass industry, in conjunction with education authorities.
At monthly meetings members have the opportunity to discuss their problems with other members, as well as obtaining professional advise from various suppliers.
Various social functions are also arranged such as an annual WPTA GOLF DAY which is the only fund raising function for the association.
The committee comprises of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and additional committee members responsible for education, social functions and venues for meetings.
